In September, Lucas-Nülle received certification from the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) as an authorized examination centre. This allows Lucas-Nülle to hold examinations and issue certificates internationally on behalf of the IMI – similar to the IHK in Germany.

Lucas-Nülle’s pilot project is in the field of hybrid and all-electric vehicles. Lucas-Nülle is providing the appropriate hardware and courses for the preparation and holding of examinations in this subject area.

Daniel Brown, project manager at Lucas-Nülle and now an IMI-certified examiner, says: “We are pleased to be working with the IMI and are proud to be an IMI-authorized examination centre now. We currently offer examination material for the area of hybrid and all-electric vehicles and will gradually expand this to cover other areas. The greatest benefit for customers is that they now receive training systems from Lucas-Nülle which have been developed jointly with the IMI.”

Furthermore, Lucas-Nülle supports educational institutions abroad in obtaining their own IMI certificate.
